MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY

This is a wonderful time in your life that I'm sure you will want to capture and remember! 
A maternity photoshoot is a fun and exciting way to capture that glowing baby bump and document this magical milestone in your life. 
It's beautiful to photograph such a precious time and each shoot is unique and a reflection of you.

These Maternity photoshoots can be as natural or as glamorous as you want it to be. The shoots are always relaxing and enjoyable.
I can provide a range of maternity photoshoot style dresses, capes, wraps, bodysuits and props for the occasion, but you are always welcome to wear anything you feel comfortable in that shows off your beautiful bump. It's best that if you decide to bring with you something to wear that you avoid bright florescent colours and logo wear. 
 
I aim to create elegant, creative and unique maternity images for you to treasure forever.  I will chat with you about your preferred style before the shoot, so that we can get the best images possible and make this day a rememberable experience. After all, pregnancy doesn’t come around often so we’ve got to capture it perfectly.

Maternity Photoshoots can also take place on location. This can be in an open field full of sunflowers or perhaps a place special to you both.

At what stage do I have the shoot?
The best time to have a maternity shoot is when you are between 28 and 33 weeks pregnant although twins pregnancies should be done earlier. (In my experience, when I was carrying my twins, at 24 weeks I had a beautiful baby bump).
I am more than happy for maternity shots to be taken at a time convenient with you.
 
What do I need to bring?
I have a selection of beautiful materials as well as dresses. It is advisable to bring with you black, nude and white pants and if you have one strapless nude bra. You are very welcome to bring with you any clothing you would like to use or props such as hats and flowers which will add your own touch to the images.
 
Do you retouch the images
Yes I will retouch the images to enhance your natural beauty, but not to make you look like another person. I want you to be happy with yuor portraits so I can take into consideration any issues yiou may have with your body, though I am aiming for a natural look rather than airbrushed magazine style.
 
How far ahead do I need to book?
You will need to book around 4-6 weeks ahead of time if you can. If you’ve left things a little late do still get in touch as I get last minute availability on occasions when newborns are late for example.
